Scatter Cushion & Covers

Measure your existing scatter cushions from seam to seam while they are flat. Our affordable PEP cushion covers come in standard sizes, making it simple and quick to slip them on and give your lounge a whole new look.

Changing your scatter cushion covers is the ultimate budget-friendly decor hack! Swap out old covers for PEP’s trendy designs, colors, and textures to instantly brighten up your living room for a fraction of the cost.

Most covers are removable and machine-washable, which is why they're practical — wash inside out on a gentle cycle in cool water and dry out of harsh sun to limit shrinking and fading. Check the care label first. Washable covers that you launder gently stay looking good far longer.

Plain covers in your accent colour are versatile and easy to mix and rematch as your room changes, while patterned covers add personality but tie you to a scheme. A practical combo is mostly plain with one or two patterned for interest. Plain is the flexible base; patterned is the accent.

Cushion covers are often sold without the inner pad, so check whether you need to buy inners too, and match the inner size to the cover for a full, plump look rather than a saggy one. Buying covers alone is cheaper if you already have inners to refresh. Confirm cover-only versus with-inner before buying so you're not caught short.

Covers get zipped, stuffed and washed often, so a sturdy zip or a firm envelope opening lasts better than a flimsy zip that jams or breaks. Check the closure feels solid before buying. A good closure is what lets you swap and wash covers for years.

On a busy sofa, a firmer woven fabric in a darker or patterned tone hides marks and resists snagging better than thin, pale fabric that stains and pills. Washable covers you can throw in the machine are essential with kids and pets. Choose robust, washable, forgiving fabrics for a family lounge.

A common, balanced look is a few cushions grouped rather than a row lined up — an odd number often looks more natural, and mixing a plain with a patterned cover adds interest without clutter. Leave room to actually sit. A small, mixed group looks styled; too many just get thrown on the floor.
