Why do bodyvests have folded fabric on the shoulders?

The folded shoulders create an envelope neckline that stretches wide open. This allows you to easily pull the bodyvest down over your baby's torso instead of over her head, keeping messy diaper blowouts completely away from her face and hair.

Why is 100% cotton the best fabric for baby bodyvests?

Bodyvests serve as a base layer against the skin, making breathable cotton the safest choice. Cotton absorbs moisture and allows air to circulate, keeping your baby comfortable and reducing the risk of heat rash and irritation.

What is the difference between a bodyvest and a standard t-shirt?

A bodyvest snaps securely between the legs, whereas a regular t-shirt stops at the waist. This snap closure prevents the garment from riding up and exposing your baby's tummy while she crawls, making it the perfect base layer under pants or sweaters.

Are multipacks of bodyvests worth buying?

Multipacks are highly cost-effective and practical for building a baby's wardrobe. Since babies require frequent outfit changes due to spills, stocking up on neutral multipacks ensures you always have a clean base layer ready to go.

Can my baby wear just a bodyvest to sleep in the summer?

Yes, a short-sleeve cotton bodyvest is a great sleepwear option during hot summer nights. It keeps her core covered while leaving her legs bare to prevent overheating, though you should keep a light muslin blanket nearby in case the room cools down.
