Women's Pyjamas Sets

For winter, choose fleece, plush or knit pyjama sets that trap warmth, and consider a hooded style for extra cosiness. For warmer nights, lighter cotton sets are more breathable and comfortable. Think about how warm you sleep and your bedroom temperature, then pick a fabric weight to match for the best night's sleep.

Cotton and cotton-blend pyjamas are breathable and soft, ideal for year-round comfort and warmer nights. Fleece and plush fabrics are cosier and warmer for cold winter nights. If you tend to overheat, choose cotton; if you feel the cold, a fleece or knit set will keep you warmer. Check the product page for the fabric.

Pyjamas are usually most comfortable with a relaxed fit that lets you move and sleep freely, so many shoppers choose their usual size or size up for extra room. Elasticated waists give flexibility on the bottoms. If you prefer a closer fit, stick to your size; for a roomier, cosier feel, consider sizing up.

A pyjama set has a matching top and bottoms, offering warmth and coverage for cold nights and lounging. A sleepshirt or nightdress is a single piece that's quick to wear and cooler, better for warm nights. Choose a set for warmth and versatility, or a nightdress for simplicity and hot-weather comfort.

Yes. Many pyjama sets, especially knit and co-ord styles, look neat enough for relaxing at home, working from home or lazy weekends, not just sleeping. A matching set gives a put-together loungewear look. If you want pyjamas that double as loungewear, choose a knit or plain co-ord rather than a very casual print.

Yes — pyjama sets are a popular, practical gift because they suit most people and sizes are forgiving thanks to relaxed fits. Print and character sets make fun gifts, while plain cotton or knit sets feel a little more grown-up. If you're unsure of size, a relaxed-fit set is a safe, well-received choice.

Wash pyjamas in cold water and avoid high heat, which can shrink cotton and flatten the softness of fleece. Turn printed sets inside out to protect the design, and air-dry or tumble-dry on low to keep fabrics soft and cosy. Always follow the care label, as fleece and cotton can have different needs.

Having two or three pyjama sets is practical, so you always have a clean pair while others are in the wash, and you can mix warmer and lighter sets for different seasons. Choosing one cosy fleece set and one breathable cotton set covers most of the year, which is a sensible, low-cost way to stay comfortable.
