Men's Pyjamas Sets

A lightweight cotton short-sleeve set with shorts or thin pants keeps you cool and breathable, so a set doesn't have to mean overheating. Avoid brushed or fleecy sets unless your room is cold. If you run really hot, look for the thinnest cotton set and a loose fit that lets air move.

Cotton sets can shrink a little in a hot wash, mostly in length, so washing cold keeps the fit. Many men size up slightly anyway for a relaxed sleep fit, and an elasticated or drawstring waist on the pants gives room to adjust. If you like them roomy, size up and wash cold rather than relying on shrinkage not to happen.

A long-sleeve set in brushed cotton or a warmer blend, with full-length pants, holds warmth in an unheated room, and you can add a vest underneath or a dressing gown over it for the coldest nights. Check the fabric weight in the product details — thin cotton won't be enough for a genuinely cold room.

Pyjama pants that are a little long are usually fine since you're not walking far in them, but if they drag and you might trip getting up at night, a shorter inside-leg or a small turn-up is safer. Check the inside-leg measurement if length matters, or choose a set sized more on your leg length.
