Men Accessories Jewellery

Fashion jewellery can tarnish or mark skin over time, especially with water, sweat, perfume and lotions. Take pieces off before showering, swimming or exercise, wipe them with a soft dry cloth after wear and store them dry. This keeps the finish looking good and reduces skin marking. Coated or sealed pieces resist it better — check the details.

If certain metals irritate your skin, check the material in the product details and lean towards simple, coated or sealed pieces, and keep jewellery dry since sweat worsens reactions. Take a piece off if it starts to irritate. Choosing understated items you can easily remove is the safest approach if you're prone to reactions.

For a ring, measure the inside diameter of one that already fits and compare it to the size guide; for a bracelet, look for an adjustable style or measure your wrist and check the length so it sits comfortably without being tight. Chains are chosen by length. Buying adjustable where possible avoids the sizing guesswork.

A shorter chain sits high on the neck and shows above a collar for a subtle look; a longer chain sits lower on the chest, suits an open shirt or tee and layers well. Pick shorter if you'll wear it under collars for work, longer if you want it visible over clothing. Check the length in the details.

Simple, well-finished pieces are fine for daily wear if you look after them — but take them off for showering, swimming, exercise and heavy work to protect the finish and reduce tarnishing. Everyday-friendly pieces are chains and simple bracelets you don't need to remove often. Rotating pieces also spreads the wear.

Silver-tone is classic and pairs with most outfits and other accessories, while black-tone gives a modern, understated look that suits casual wear and often hides minor wear better. For an all-rounder that works smart and casual, silver-tone is the safe pick; choose black for a contemporary edge.
