Apple Cellphones

iPhones at PEP start from around R2,600 for pre-owned models such as the iPhone 11, up to roughly R7,300 for newer pre-owned units. The exact price depends on the model, storage size and condition. Because most stock is quality-checked pre-owned phones, you pay far less than a brand-new iPhone would cost.

Most iPhones in this range are pre-owned (refurbished) — fully tested, working units sold at a lower price than new. Each phone is checked before sale, so you get a genuine Apple device for less. Check each product page for the exact condition, as some newer stock may be sold new.

The pre-owned iPhone 11 is usually the best value. It offers a large screen, dual cameras and good battery life at one of the lowest prices in the range. For the cheapest entry point, the iPhone 8 or XR cost less. For the newest features within budget, choose the highest model your money allows.

Yes. The iPhones sold are designed to work on all major South African networks — Vodacom, MTN, Telkom and Cell C. Simply insert your SIM and the phone connects. If you're switching networks, you can keep the same phone. Confirm the SIM size, as most iPhones here use a nano-SIM.

PEP's pre-owned iPhones are sold ready to use with any local SIM, so you are not tied to one network. This means you can choose the cheapest airtime or data deal that suits you. If you have a specific network in mind, confirm compatibility on the product page or with a store assistant before buying.

Pre-owned iPhones from PEP come with cover under the Consumer Protection Act, including a returns period if the phone is faulty. Warranty terms differ between new and pre-owned units, so check the cover stated on the product page or receipt. Keep your proof of purchase for any return, exchange or claim.

Pre-owned iPhones are tested to confirm the battery holds a usable charge before they are sold. Battery life varies with model and age — newer models like the iPhone 11 generally last longer per charge than the iPhone 8. For all-day use, choose a more recent model and avoid running many apps at once.

PEP's iPhones typically come in 64GB, which comfortably holds apps, photos, music and WhatsApp for everyday use. Choose 64GB or more if you take lots of photos or videos. The size is shown on each product page — pick the largest you can afford, as iPhone storage cannot be expanded with a memory card.
