> DC ADMIN MANAGER JHB
    Department : SUPPLY CHAIN

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
    To manage the DC’s office and admin duties, relieving the office supervisor as/when the need arises.

    KEY OUTPUTS:

    • Collect and compare GRV’s
    • Time and attendance records for staff
    • Monthly and weekly DC statements
    • Administration of creditors payments
    • Continuously liaise with Finance Department
    • Implementation of mark-downs
    • Manage and control all administration in the office efficiently
    • General administration tasks
    • Ad hoc tasks as required


    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12
    • At least 2 years admin experience within the Distribution Centre environment
    • Computer Literacy: MS Office
    • Competencies required: Planning, Organising and Control; Detail orientation; Ability to build and maintain relationships; Communication skills and Decision making skills.

> FINANCIAL MANAGER - NIGERIA
    Department : PEP AFRICA
    Location : NIGERIA

     

    Pep, a single brand retain chain in Africa seeks to appoint a Financial Manager for its start up subsidiary in Nigeria.

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

    To set up and manage the financial aspects of Pep’s Nigeria Subsidiary and to provide financial advice and support to Management, in order to enable them to make sound business decisions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Set up and manage the Financial department for Pep Nigeria
    • Responsible for financial accounting and budgets
    • Cost Management
    • Play a key role in the development of Nigeria’s growth strategy to ensure profitability  - including gross profit margins, exchange rates, etc
    • Give financial input to all projects
    • Produce accurate financial reports required by law, regulations and company procedures
    • Keep abreast of changes in Nigeria’s financial regulations and legislation, especially regarding foreign exchange policies; repatriation of funds and relevant tax systems
    • Evaluate and optimise financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures
    • Make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial     control functions
    • Ensure alignment with Pep Africa’s centralised processes, procedures and systems


    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

    • Tertiary qualification in Financial Management / Accounting
    • At least 10  years experience in a financial management position within a retail environment
    • Computer literacy: Advanced level (Office Software and Financial systems)
    • Skills: Leadership; Management; Analytical; Problem solving; Decision making; Build and maintain healthy business relationships; Attention to detail, Commercial- / Business acumen
    • The appointment is subject to the approval of a work permit in Nigeria.

> FMCG Planner
    Department : Planning
    Location :

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB : The purpose of the planner is to manage the allocation process and plan and control stock to achieve maximum sales and profit targets.

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    - In-season performance management of stock

    - Analysis of performance data and develop pre-season business plans

    - Product Management (Monitor, analyse and make recommendations of product life cycles)

    - Coaching and supervising

    - Sales and Stock planning and allocation management

    - Store support and visits

    - Adhoc projects

     JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    - Grade 12 (with Mathematics)

    - Commercial or Statistical degree or diploma

    - Computer Literacy (MS Office) as well as experience in planning tools, i.e. Arthur

    - Min 5 years planning experience within an FMCG environment

> MERCHANDISE CONTROLLER

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    Allocating available stock to stores according to plan, to optimize service and stock levels. Maintain stock records, master tables and store and product attributes.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Allocation of stock based on store needs and stock analyses
     Handling of store orders and queries
     Management of distribution centre stock
     Updating of activity records in budget book
     Creating new styles
     Allocation of stock to new stores
     Handling of customer stock queries
     Handling of Central Office Stock Transfer Instructions (COSTI’s)
     Ad hoc administrative tasks


    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
     Grade 12 (Mathematics and Business Economics will be an advantage)
     Computer Literate (MS Office – Excel)
     Distribution Centre knowledge and/or Retail experience will be an advantage

    Drawing plans for layout purposes and ensuring that plans are implemented in stores so that optimum use of space is maintained.

    ·  Placing and execution of relevant orders to suppliers

    ·  Scheduling and monitoring of installations

     JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

> SUPERVISOR: DISTRIBUTION JHB

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

    To plan and control the DC’s distribution activities

     

    KEY OUTPUTS:

     

    ·         Supervising the achievement of the distribution department’s daily targets

    ·         Provide leadership and coaching within the distribution department

    ·         Plan distribution lines and develop daily operational plans

    ·         General management of the distribution department, e.g. identification of operational

    problems, capacity management, ensure compliance with health and safety

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To drive continuous improvement of the Pep end-to-end Supply Chain – including the components  Planning; Buying; Quality Control; Shipping; Warehousing and Distribution

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Review end-to-end Supply Chain processes – with the objective of identifying efficiency improvements, implementing new or improved processes, while understanding the role of related systems and the impact on upstream or downstream functions

    - Champion all Supply Chain process-related projects by leading, participating, advising and aligning as appropriate and prioritised

    - Manage and advise on Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators and measurements, including continuous improvement initiatives; cost measurement/ reduction

    - Identify and implement industry best practice processes in supply chain management

     JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
    At least 5 years experience in a similar role
    Extensive retail knowledge and experience
    Knowledge of Supply chain processes and systems
    Advanced Computer skills

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Determining sales (field) training and development needs
     Facilitation of learning interventions
     Development and revision of learning programmes
     Evaluation of the impact of learning interventions
     Building effective relationships with internal clients
     Learning event administration


    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
     Training and Deveopment experience
     Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
     Computer literate (MS Office)
     Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
     Language proficiency (English – Fluent ; Afrikaans – Basic)
