More than 14 000 people are employed by PEP and they are all helping to make PEP the friendliest and most exciting retailer.

Uniting everyone at PEP is a unique culture, which is called Sikhula KunYe (we are growing together).  This culture promotes growth, dignity, respect and fun and is supported by the shared values of honesty, passion and resourcefulness.

All the PEP people – or Dynamos as we call them – greet each other with a ‘high five’ hand signal. Dynamos are empowered to succeed in their jobs, they are held accountable through measurements and they are incentivised for good performance through bonuses and public recognition.
