All SIM cards must be registered in terms of Regulation of Interception of Communications and Provision of Communication-related information Act, 2002 (Act 70 of 2002)  (RICA) before activation.

You are required to present the following documentation: 
  • Your ID book or passport
  • Proof of residence (not older than three months) e.g. bank statement, a municipal rates and taxes invoice, telephone or cellular phone account or any other utility bill or retail account.
  • No documentation. No registration. No activation.
